CMEH Shanghai 2026: Introduction & Industry Outlook

The 48th Shanghai International Medical Devices Exhibition (CMEH 2026) will take place from June 24 to 26 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Center. Hosted by the China Healthcare Industry Association and Shanghai Juyi Exhibition Service, it has been a key industry event since 2002. With the theme “Innovative Technology · Smart Manufacturing for Health”, the show serves as a comprehensive platform bridging domestic and international manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and medical institutions.

Covering the entire medical device industry chain, CMEH displays products across medical imaging, IVD reagents, disposable consumables, operating room equipment, rehabilitation devices, and smart healthcare solutions. The 2026 edition is expected to host 1,000+ exhibitors and attract 45,000+ professional visitors, including a large number of import/export traders and overseas buyers. Geographically, it leverages Shanghai’s status as an international trade hub and the robust industrial base of East China, China’s core medical device cluster.

The medical device sector presents strong growth prospects. China’s market size reached RMB 1.22 trillion in 2025, growing at 10.6% year-on-year, driven by aging populations, healthcare reform, and technological innovation. Globally, demand for cost-effective, CE/FDA-certified Chinese devices continues to rise, especially in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. As a vital gateway for export-oriented manufacturers, CMEH 2026 offers unrivaled opportunities for networking, branding, and cross-border deal-making in a high-potential market.
