Instructions for Use
- Preparation: Before use, ensure the trocar and obturator are properly sterilized (autoclaved). Check the silicon sealing ring and flip-top valve for integrity.
- Assembly: Insert the obturator (Pyramidal or Autoshield) into the cannula until it locks into place.
- Insertion: Make a small skin incision. Hold the trocar grip firmly and apply steady, controlled pressure to penetrate the abdominal wall layers. (If using the Autoshield version, ensure the safety indicator shows the shield is active).
- Trocar Positioning: Once the parietal peritoneum is breached, remove the obturator. The flip-top valve will automatically close to prevent gas leakage.
