Crafted from advanced, high-strength biocompatible polymers, these clips are designed for permanent vessel and tissue occlusion in both laparoscopic and open surgical procedures.
Advanced Safety & Imaging Features
One of the primary advantages of our polymer clips is their radiolucent property. Unlike metal clips, they do not interfere with CT, MRI, or X-ray imaging, ensuring artifact-free post-operative diagnostics. Each clip features an integrated locking bow mechanism; once the clip is applied, it provides a secure, audible, and tactile "click," giving surgeons immediate confirmation of a successful and permanent seal.
Comprehensive Sizing & Color Coding
To ensure seamless integration into the surgical workflow, our clips are color-coded for instant identification:
- Gold (Extra Large - XL): For large-diameter vessels and thick tissue bundles
- Purple (Large - L): For standard major vessel ligation
- Green (Medium-Large - ML): For precision work in confined spaces
Usage & Application Method
- Loading: Use a compatible Innovamed Polymer Clip Applier. Align the applier jaws with the clip in the cartridge and press down until the clip is firmly seated.
- Positioning: Place the open jaws of the applier around the target vessel. Ensure the vessel is fully positioned within the inner curvature of the clip.
- Ligation: Squeeze the applier handles firmly. The clip will wrap around the vessel and the distal latch will lock over the proximal end.
- Confirmation: The tactile "snap" confirms that the vessel is occluded. The non-slip serrated teeth on the inner surface of the clip prevent any longitudinal or lateral movement.
These clips are non-absorbable, inert, and non-conductive, making them the safest choice for complex cardiovascular, urological, and general surgical reconstructions.
